There are 11 consecutive odd integers. If the average of the first 7 is "n", then what is the average of all 11.

Answers given in terms of "n"

The quickest way to solve such questions is to take numerical values.

11 consecutive odd integers can be
1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17, 19, 21.

First 7 amongst these 11 odd integers are 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13. Average of these 7 odd integers is 7. The question states the value of the average is "n"

The average of all 11 odd integers is 11.

If 7 = n, then 11 = n + 4.
