I think the correct answer should be (a) frugivorous : bat.
The meanings are as follows
Geophagous - earth eating
Frugivorous - fruit eating
Melliferous - bearing honey
Anthropophagous - person who eats human flesh
Argentiferous - producing silver
Hydrocephalous - a medical condition where enlargement of the skull occurs
Earthworms eat their way through earth. Earthworms eat dirt and ingest bacteria and small particles. Similarly some bats eat fruit. Looking at the other choices we can see choices (b) and (d) do not have any such relationship. When we look at choice (c) we can say that there are human flesh eating humans who are called cannibals. But that is an aberration. It is not a staple diet like in the case of earthworms eating earth or bats eating fruit. Therefore it cannot be the correct answer. There is no connection between Hydrocephalous and sea horses so choice (e) can be eliminated.
