The answer is C. 23 1/3

The sum of x and y comes to 60 from the mean...
Adding z the total becomes 70 and on dividing by 3 we get the answer...

(x + y)/2 = 30
So, x + y = 60
z =10. So, x + y + z = 60 + 10 = 70

Averages of x, y, z = (x + y+ z)/3 = 70/3

Answer C. 231/3
