Together California and Texas produced 2/7 + 1/7 = 3/7th of all the Uranium ore produced in the country.

Therefore, the other states produced 1 - 3/7 = 4/7th of all the Uranium ore produced in the country.

The combined production of all the other states = 28 million tons.

i.e., 4/7th of total production = 28 million tonnes.
So, total production = (28 * 7)/4 = 49 million tonnes.

Texas produced 1/7th of the total = 1/7 * 49 = 7 million tonnes.

Choice B.
